Tip 1

The most common cause of a leaky tap is an old washer.
Check the tap seals and washers to ensure yours are in working order.

Tip 2

If you have a mixer tap, you may need to change the mixer cartridge.

Tip 3

If a hot water tap is leaking, try to isolate it by turning off the ‘water inlet isolation valve’ at the hot water system. You will still be able to use cold water throughout your house.
